First final of my last semester starts today! I've been trying to study (kinda) which explains the sparse blogging but I'll be back soon enough. 

Like I said previously I wanted to try to wear more skirts and here we have it. I'm not going to lie I was tempted to change into shorts before walking out the door but my roommate convinced me otherwise. I picked up this faux leather skirt at Urban Outfitters after searching for quite some time. I'm so glad I found this one because it's a great material and such an easy piece to mix and match. I like how it gives off an edgy feel but can be paired with florals or this jean jacket for a more casual girly look. I also picked up these Paka Booties (can you tell I love ankle boots) after seeing them on Target Does it Again! I'm seriously in love!!

I have really been loving the look of skirts this spring and summer and am going to try to make an effort to actually wear them! This simple navy cotton skirt is so casual and so chic paired with a stripped shirt.  Don't even get me started on these Natalie x Dylana Suarez Jett Booties! Ever since the day these ladies put these boots out I've been in love with them. Unfortunately, the price is not so lovable. So while I won't be wearing these gorgeous oxblood boots anytime soon, a girl can dream.

Oh what, there's sunshine! The weather this weekend was amazing and while I didn't take full advantage of it I was able to snap a few outfit pictures. I spent my sunday with my regular study date at Panera but was able to squeeze in some time downtown. 

I previously picked up this acid wash peplum tank (still available) and paired them with these DIY jean shorts. I can't believe it's finally warm enough to wear tanks and shorts, yippe! Unfortunately, after looking at these pictures I can see that I'm little pale. Guess it's time to soak up some rays. Hope you all had a great weekend and ready for the week!

I know it's hard when you log onto your favorite blog and see a wish list that consists of items that are just beyond your budget. So even though this is a "want" list, these are all items that I would definitely consider somewhat budget friendly and things I would totally buy. I'm loving all the colors that come with spring but ironically I've noticed that I gravitate towards the color gray when it comes to clothing. Gray tees, gray tanks, gray dresses, grey skirts...but that's another post entirely. Enjoy my What I Wants!

Target Does It Again

Just a quick post. 

Basically if you don't follow the blog target does it again prepare to have your mind blown. We all know that Target is awesome and the minute you walk in your wallet is doomed. Well you just wait, I rediscovered the blog yesterday and I've already placed my order. These ladies are pros, so be prepared!

Gorgeous spring blushed colored outfits! Boy do JCrew and Zara know how to put out a spring line! I'm loving everything and wish I could have it all. I notice I have two very contrasting styles, one being this super girly lace and floral print type ensemble and then like a grungy-er combat boot look. I guess that's the fun in fashion; you can totally wear what you're feeling.

(side note: I've recently switched computers and making this collage almost killed me due to not have photoshop installed yet. Precious hours of my life were lost in the making of this post, so hope you guys enjoy it!)

I wasn't planning on blogging today because honestly I haven't had any time to put a post together. Fortunately or unfortunately, a 3 hr exam I was supposed to take is having technical difficulties and I'm left sitting in a classroom with a computer and time to spare. You know when you have those weeks where you can't even look at the days to come because you know you'll become overwhelmed by the sheer number of bullets on your to do list. Yeah, that's the kind of week I'm having. On top of that I could really use some sleep + hulu plus. While I have a packed weekend (and not the fun kind) I'm still so grateful that is the weekend yet again. Happy weekend, enjoy it for me!
