Galactic Hero...

Over the weekend I finally got a chance to go to Disneyland with Mr. AL which was my birthday present (yes it was a month ago but if you saw me after my birthday you understand why I was unable to participate in such festivities). In any case, if you have been to Disneyland then you are familiar with the "Buzz Light-year Ride." This laser target shooting game is Mr. AL's absolute favorite game/ride and he was determined to hit 1 million points and become a galactic hero (refer to image above). He succeeded.

this is his "it's on!" game face

While in line I had a sudden surge of confidence and thought just maayybe I could beat him. He was up for the challenge, but unfortunately I failed miserably :(

The day was super fun but seriously I do not know how such small children (or more importantly their loving parents) have the stamina to continue roaming the crowded parks and lines for such long hours. It was quite an exhausting experience but totally worth it! I also got a chance to watch the 3-D Captain EOs Show (was Honey I Shrunk the Audience) which according to Mr. AL is like a childhood right of passage or something. I had never heard of Captain EOs until saturday but it was a pretty good show. This little adventure was a day of firsts but I must say one of the top 3 moments was when we found out that Disneyland is jumping on the RAVE bandwagon. It is called GLOW FEST, every summer night in California Adventures. Check it out all my raver friends :) HAH

Stay tuned for tomorrows post because Irene and I have something special planned for all of you!
