Project Runway Challenge de Steph

*disclaimer: I didn't do this during finals week, so don't worry =)
About maybe a month ago when I had that little excursion to the thrift store I found this dress. I know, it's like a super grandma, XXXXL, way too much fabric dress for a 22 year youngin like myself. BUT I think it was the fabric or maybe the print that stood out to me and I knew I could do something with it soooo....I bought it. It helped that it was on super clearance uber sale that day and cost like $1.25....SCORE!

My friend Denise once told me that when you're thrifting you have to see potential in everything, and that is what I did. I pulled a Tim Gunn and started by taking out the g.ma shoulder pads and cutting off the disproportionally large sleeves. Followed by hemming the bottom of the skirt to get it out of that awkward shin lengthed zone. Did some final tweeks here and there to make the fit better and that's pretty much it. Then, I wore it =)

The outfit pictures may be slightly blurry and pixel-y because I accidently left my camera with a friend and so my roommate was nice enough to snap some pics with her camera today. Unfortunately, I only know how to edit the pictures out of my camera and somehow my cropping and random button pressing was making the photos a little grainy. Woops, sorry folks. That is all.

I dressed up today since I had a counseling practical this morning in Lab. I've been forcing Mr. AL to be my patient so I could counsel him on all my medications and while he is by far  my most difficult patient, thanks to him I got a 100% this morning. THANK YOU!

Here's a little snippet of how the counseling goes down:
Me: Mr. Lee with this medication you may experience some slow weight gain an....
AL: AWWW HELL NAH!

Steph
