Summer to Fall

Summer to Fall

No outfit pictures because the weather has been terrible. I'm not really sure what other bloggers do in pouring rain but I for one just feel yucky and don't want to stand around taking pictures.

Since it's definitely getting cooler but many of us may not be quite ready to put away our summer clothes I thought I'd do some inspiration on transitioning summer to fall.  Here I took a flowy pink summer dress and paired them with some falls staples. One of the reasons I love fall are the boots and booties, I'm in love with all three of these! Here are three different types of boots that can instantly turn a summer dress into a fall ensemble. In the case that you're in an extremely cold place (Vermont), I'm loving these think tights that can be worn underneath a dress or skirt and look chic yet still keep you warm. Not only are these outfits making use of your own wardrobe but the layers will also help to keep you warm!

  2. Cute idea! I actually really like bringing in dresses and skirts that I wear in summer to fall and winter. My favorite is the last one! Love the boots with it.

  3. It's still 100 degrees where I live and I just feel sick to death of my summer wardrobe because it's been WORN OUT.

  8. That pink dress is so pretty and I love how you transitioned it into fall, I especially love that outfit with the tweed jacket :) And ugh I so agree (even though I do love the rain) taking pictures in the rain is definitely not fun.
