Wear Neutrals & Polka Dots | Eat Salted Caramel Macarons
Although OMP! isn't really about my wardrobe style, I am definitely a fashion fanatic. I am thrilled to share a little of my own personal style with you today. My taste in clothing can be eclectic-- I like a mix of everything. I would definitely say I have become a more girly dresser over the years; nothing makes me more comfortable than a great figure flattering skirt or dress in a bold and colorful print. However, I enjoy creating my own looks with a mix of vintage (or vintage inspired) and modern pieces.
Today I have two outfits for you all. These looks are paired with some sweet treats I baked up just for this guest post (you can learn more about my baking hobbies and see some of my work here. On OMP!, one of my weekly features is Wear What You Eat.-- a post dedicated to comparing great clothing/accessories to delicious food. Although I got dressed up for Stephanie and all of you today, I would definitely say that these outfits are reflective of my everyday style.
Polka dot blouse: Local Boutique // Sweater: J.Crew // Necklace: Nordstroms // Jeans: AG //
Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Navy Pumps: Anthropologie
I love these heels! They're like a mullet, business in the front, paaaarty in the back! I am a big fan of the special little details in my outfits. However, for a more comfortable day look, I probably would swap these babies out for some flats or knee high boots.
Wear Scalloped Shift Dress | Eat Lemon Cake (frosted in buttercream and adorned with gilded details)
Scalloped Shift Dress: J.Crew // Ankle Boots: Sam Edelman // Necklace: J.Crew
When I saw this dress a few weeks ago, I fell in love. I am talking weak-in-the-knees and I'll-wear-you-with-everything-
even-my-old-house-slippers kind of love. It's a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down. What do I love so much about it? Is it the bright poppy color? The sweet scalloped hemline? Sigh. It was just all very, very good.
Well. Thank you for taking some time to meet me! This was absolutely lovely! I hope I see some of you on Oh My Pancake! soon.
